Lojain ayman.. How to prove the existence of allah..? ( GOD ) A lot of people believes in science, many atheists says that science is the basic criterion to prove of allah, I’ll prove it by scientific proof. If you ask atheist simple question, suppose there’s a machine that no one hasn’t seen it yet in the world, and this machine putted in front of you, the question is who will be the first person who will tell you how this machine works..? He may say “the creator of this machine” or the producer, or the inventor. When you ask the atheist, How the universe came to excite..? he will tell you “first, This universe was nebula, Then it happened a big bang, Who made the galaxies, stars, moon, and earth where we live. You ask him when did you know about this big bang and the beginning of the universe..? He says “about 40 years ago” tell him that thing you called it big bang is mentioned in the Qur’an 1400 years ago in Surat anbea verse 30: (اولَمْ يَرَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًا فَفَتَقْنَاهُمَا ) Did not those who disbelief see the skies and the grounds was a one piece and they separated from each other..? ask him Who could mention that in the Qur’an..? he may says “maybe someone wrote it by a coincidence” I’ll ignore him and continue.. Ask another question what is the shape of the earth..? he will say “humans were thinking that the earth is flat until 1577 when frances deriek sailed around the earth and proved that the earth is glairy. Qur’an mention in Surat Alnazeat verse 30: ( (والأرض بعد ذلك دحاها The earth is like an egg, specifically ostrich egg. Who could mention that..? he says “your prophet Mohamed was a smart guy” -ignoring him- The Qur’an written by allah the most merciful and our prophet Mohamed (PBUH) told us through his hadyth proved a lot of scientific theories before scientist told us. In the past people thought that all plants didn’t move around itself, but the holy Qur’an told us also that all the planets moves all in one orbit in Surat Anbea verse 33: (وهو الذي خلق الليل والنهار والشمس والقمر كلن في الفلك يسبحون) He’s the one who made the night, sun, and moon all of them moves in one orbit. some people says that there’s nothing great about astronomy that Qur’an talks about it because arab were advanced in the astronomy science. I agree, we were advanced in astronomy science, But let me remind you that after the Qur’an came from the sky on prophet Mohamed, centuries passed, arab became advanced in astronomy science because of the Qur’an we became advanced in the past.
Retaj Alshuaili How is language used in (social) media?
Social media has always been our number 1 way to get our information from. Although, not all information is true, some might be biased whilst others are unbelievable. But how could we be sure on what topics are right and the ones that are not?
Some articles are worded so well that it would change the way you're thinking or even make you switch sides on an argument. These kind of articles and news use manipulating words, thus stwist the meaning of the sentence. But, we should read between the lines and try to find the inner meaning of something on the internet. Not all things are worth reading, this is because some news are faked to get publicity. Publicity is a way for the news to get out and to grab someone's attention, this would make them question 'why' and 'how' this topic is relevant or not.
Our generation has technology and knowledge that wasn't there 50 years ago, and with this, it gives us an advantage to simple problems like research. Our younger generation lean towards YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram to achieve knowledge and to waste time being active on them. However, they get some incorrect information and would most likely believe it.
Could fame/celebrities be affecting the children's knowledge in a bad way?
The world is commencing to lose faith in the authorities very rapidly, specifically children. Why would teachers be wanted if the facts are given from celebrities the children look up to? Children from all around the globe follow their idols, if they give these children facts in what they believe in, children will follow these beliefs which could be a bad idea. For example, the You Tuber star Logan Paul claims that the earth is flat, this public figure has over 19 MILLION subscribers on YouTube! Children who are fans of him may go to school stating that the earth is flat because Logan Paul quoted it. This will affect the teachers and parents in many ways. This will have a great impact on the education system. Children may suggest that they want to be home schooled or get lessons from websites online. This will then affect the teachers, curriculums, and the number of schools needed. A change should be made and QUICK! Social media is way too dangerous for kids and not everything the internet holds of knowledge could be true. If people keep following this path it will lead them to something negative for their children's future, OUR world's future. Everybody deserves a chance to be educated most safely and beneficially.
Do vaccines make us sick? Instead of giving us immunity
People nowadays are losing faith in the area of science because of vaccines, they think vaccines don't work anymore because when doctors gave the children vaccines instead of them getting immunity from it they got the virus like let's say measles maybe like one child in a hundred got measles then the parents shared it on social media and said my child got measles from vaccines then the other parents say maybe they are right and maybe we are wrong maybe it's true that vaccines don't work so they stop vaccinating their children, then doctors start getting aggressive and wanting to know who started this anti vaccine thing they start saying without vaccines your immune system will start going down you'll start getting sick and make other anti vaccinators sick, so no one knows what to follow because if u go on doctors side the anti vaccine people will start problems, fights, etc ,and if you go on the anti vaccinators side the doctors start getting mad, angry and aggressive about it, so nowadays people get confused about the rights and wrongs so they don't know what side they should be with, but at the end everyone will be on one side or the other.
Trusting authority or having faith in authority is something personal. However, we need to have some faith in authority by at least 10%. Without authority everything will go out of control. Sometimes we may find some decisions that are made by authority wrong, but be sure that there is a good reason for the decision they made.
We shouldn’t have a lot of faith in authority. Sometimes, because they have power and money they do wrong things such as robbing people. We have real life situations that the authority is the “bad person “in the country, we can find this in poor countries such as African countries like Sudan etc… The percentage of justice in these countries is low.
We need to look at this from an ethical point of view but also a logical point of view, if what the authority is doing makes sense and has good reasons for doing it then why not have faith in authority? Also, sometimes they fake news so they show people that they are the best, therefore don’t believe everything that is said in the news, if you are suspicious about something or even curious, make some researches, search for the truth and believe what makes sense to you. You don’t have to have a lot of faith in authority but at least some of it.
